Calef\u2019s had a \u201cshared well\u201d located on an adjacent property. The new gas station company was not being exactly neighborly with Calef\u2019s in attempting to find a solution to Calef\u2019s no longer having water to their property. Due to existing regulations, Calef\u2019s did not have the area required to place their own well, a problem that had existed within the state on several other occasions prior. Senator John Reagan, one individual in state government and myself worked on a legislative amendment to grant exceptions in these unique circumstances. I personally introduced the amendment in the Senate.
